Anyone who’s in constant contact with or keeps a close tab on the celebrity fashion circuits wouldn’t need telling that picking a look straight off the runway is not an uncommon occurrence. In fact, with such amazingly desirable looks, it would be surprising if celebs did not covet these looks. However, it takes a true fashionista to carry a runway replica and work it way, way, way better than the model herself. FYI, Sonam Kapoor just did it!

The actress attended the premiere of Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam’s upcoming film, Kaabil, last night wearing head-to-toe Paule Ka and exuding a chicness that is sure to have put the runway model to shame. Here check it out…

What she wore

Working matching separates like a boss, Sonam dressed in a printed, ink blue trench shirt and a pair of matching cropped pencil pants. As mentions above, her outfit was courtesy of Paule Ka.

Shoes and accessories

With her outfit, Sonam stepped into a pair of the same copper strappy heels as the original ensemble. The diva buckled-up her waist with a broad brown crocodile-skin belt from the same label that had an interesting conversation going with the strap of the actress’ yellow bag, which happened to be the only things unlike the runway look (the model carries a brown bag instead). A pair of danglers and a handcuff rounded off Kapoor’s ensemble.

Hair and makeup

Going easy in the hair and makeup department, Sonam left her straight tresses down in an artfully messy manner and finished off her look with defined eyes and soft pink lips.

Yes, Sonam looked as gorgeous as she usually does but we have more important things to highlight here like what we learnt from the actress’ head-to-toe Paule Ka look. Here it goes… 1) It is not necessary that the ensemble you choose looks as good on you as it does on the model; it might just look better, 2) Matching separates are still just as chic, 3) Matching belt and purse are a great combo that work not just in breaking a monotony but also add a nice drama to the outfit AND 4) Sonam Kapoor will continue her reign as a stylista forever!
