5 Best Drugstore Kajals Available in India

  Kajal

If there is one product out there I cannot even think of surviving without, it’s Kajal. A touch of Kajal on the eyes has become the identity of an Indian girl. Intense Kohl rimmed eyes can easily be associated with Indian culture but at the same time looks super chic and runway-ish if worn correctly with the perfect outfit. They say a girl’s eyes speak the most, so defining your eyes with the best Kajal that merely makes the eyes more attractive and expressive.

I’m certain we all have that one particular Kajal that is our holy grail product we swear by and cannot even think of replacing. They’re a cosmetic item we don’t mind splurging on as it’s undoubtedly a bare necessity but it can get quite expensive spending on high-end Kohl pencils every third week. What you girls need to do is check out the drug store collection of Kajals. The one thing that the drugstore brands in India get right every time is a mind boggling Kajal formula that is tremendously intense, smudge-free and long-lasting. Here’s a list of my five favourite drugstore Kajals that’ll make you forget that High-end Kohl pencil you keep splurging on. Go on, give it a go. I promise you won’t regret it and just by chance that you do regret it (I highly doubt it), even the trial and error will hardly cost you anything.

1.Chambor Stay-On Waterproof Eyeliner

This creamy formula glides on super smoothly on the eyes. The retractable pencil liner is extremely pigmented, intense and surely lasts a good 5 hours on the eyes. If you have oily skin or your eyes water too much, expect a little smudging around the waterline which is bound to happen with any brand of Kajal.

2.Lakme Eyeconic Kajal

The Kajal promises to be smudge free, super intense and long lasting for upto ten hours. Let me tell you, this Kajal surely lives up to all its promises. My favourite drugstore Kajal out there, I still prefer using this over my high-end gel eyeliner to create a perfect feline flick on my eyes. And this does not budge all day, even after splashing water on it. The only complaint I have with this dreamy product is that it breaks too often. If you don’t use it delicately, you’ll be buying a new one every week! It’s fairly addictive.

3.L’Oreal Paris Kajal Magique

This kajal is infused with the goodness of Cocoa Butter, Vitamin E and Olive Oil Esters. It is made with a new generation formulation for intense colour. This product is less smoother than the rest others and not ideal to create a winged liner. But what impresses me the most about this Kajal is its long lasting power on the waterline. I wear lenses and my eyes water way too much. No matter what brand of Kajal I use, there are always some black smears along my lower lash line. When I tried this Kajal on my waterline, it lasted for the longest time without smudging. A good quality product in pretty packaging sold at a decent price totally makes it worth it.
